Fillings & Composite

Tooth-coloured composite restorations that are virtually invisible, conservative, and long-lasting — completed in a single appointment.

What We Offer

Types of Restorations

01

Composite Fillings

Tooth-coloured resin that bonds directly to the tooth structure. Virtually invisible once placed, and requires significantly less removal of healthy tooth compared to amalgam.

02

Direct Bonding

Composite resin sculpted freehand to repair chips, close minor gaps, or reshape teeth — without crowns or veneers. Results in a single appointment.

03

Replacement of Old Amalgam Fillings

Removal of dark metal fillings and replacement with matched composite. Preserves more tooth structure and eliminates the aesthetic concern of visible metal.

04

Inlays & Onlays

Laboratory-fabricated porcelain or composite restorations for larger cavities where a direct filling is insufficient but a full crown is unnecessary. The conservative middle option.

What to Expect

01

Shade Selection

Before any preparation, we match the composite shade to your neighboring teeth in natural light. This cannot be corrected after bonding — so we take our time here.

02

Rubber Dam Isolation

Our standard. Always.

A rubber dam is placed around the tooth. This isolates the field completely from saliva. Moisture contamination during composite placement is the leading cause of premature restoration failure — not technique, not material quality. The rubber dam eliminates this variable entirely. We use one for every restoration, every time.

03

Minimal Preparation

Only damaged or decayed tissue is removed. Because composite bonds directly to tooth structure, we take only what must go — and nothing more.

04

Layered Placement

The composite is built up in thin incremental layers, each light-cured separately. Layering builds natural translucency, internal strength, and proper anatomy — it cannot be rushed.

05

Freehand Sculpting

Dr. Tarek shapes the restoration by hand — reconstructing the cusps and contours of your tooth as they should be. This is where 30 years of practice becomes visible.

06

Polish & Bite Check

The surface is polished to a smooth finish. Your bite is tested and refined until it feels right. You leave with the completed restoration in place.
